Can an AI Music Tool Tidy a Session Without Flattening the Song?

Suno Studio 2.0 now has MIDI editing, stem separation, automation, custom plugins and a chat bar that can “tidy up your session.” I’d try that last bit on a copy of one rough 30-second section. Listen to it once, hide the screen, then ask Chat to tidy only that section. Listen again. Did it clear dead tracks and fix the level jump that nearly clips, or did it move notes and smooth out the odd beat you meant to keep? When you open the screen, every change should be visible and individually reversible. Saving ten minutes of cleanup is useful. Spending another session figuring out what taste it applied is not. What should “tidy” be allowed to touch by default?

I’d make the default boring: no audible changes. Rename and group tracks; flag clipping and unused takes. Timing, tuning, levels, fades and notes wait until the person asks. Otherwise the software gets to smuggle its taste in under a housekeeping label.
