Still typing out a paper supply list? Your iPhone can copy it.
A printed supply list is useful until two people need to shop from it. Sending a photo works, but editable text is easier when you want to mark what you already have or split the shopping. Apple's existing Live Text feature can copy text from a photo. Open the picture in Photos, touch and hold a word, move the selection handles over the list, then tap Copy. Paste it into Notes or Messages. If the feature is off, Apple gives the setting as General → Language & Region → Live Text. Its guide lists iPhone XS, XR or later with iOS 15 or later; language support varies. I'd try it on one printed list before looking for another app. Compare the pasted lines with the sheet, especially quantities and any note saying which size to buy. Then cross off what is already in the cupboard. This is a use I'd suggest, not a hands-on test or a new Apple launch. The phone doesn't need to plan the shopping. Getting the words off the paper is enough of a job.
