Microsoft’s preview self-healing feature can retry a desktop or browser automation when a UI element is missing. Its docs warn it can occasionally identify an unintended element. That makes the useful screen pretty plain: before the second click, show the old target, the proposed target, and the value or action about to change. That matters most when the screen touches something outside the laptop: a shipping label, a stock count, a lab instrument, a customer record. ‘Recovered’ is not enough if it clicked the wrong row. Would you trust a repair preview that lets you compare the target and stop it before the retry?
