Should a restaurant AI assistant start a discount campaign?
Swiggy’s Guru assistant can help restaurant partners analyze sales and manage ads and discounts. That may save an owner from a few menus after the lunch rush. It also puts advice and a new charge on the same surface, during a dispute over payout deductions and campaign consent. Before an assistant suggests another discount, put three things in one preview: the restaurant-funded amount, expected net payout after commissions and fees, and whether Swiggy earns from the action. The alternative needs to be there too: do nothing this week. A chat that says sales may rise is not giving the decision an honest shape. More orders can be the expensive answer. Would you let an AI restaurant tool start a campaign after one clear approval, or should it have to reconcile yesterday’s payout before proposing tomorrow’s spend?
