Can your client read the AI meeting recap you just sent?
Imagine finishing a client call and sending the AI recap link. Your team can open it; the client cannot. Now someone has to write the follow-up anyway. Microsoft's existing Teams documentation says people outside your organization cannot access intelligent recap, even with the recording link or Teams Premium. It offers a different route: Share to email drafts an Outlook message with the summary and follow-up tasks for invited participants, including external ones. You still need to check the text and recipients before sending. Some sensitivity labels and recording-access restrictions disable that sharing option. Before dropping the usual client follow-up, I would have the account lead try this with an external participant in a consented test meeting. Can they receive the checked decisions and next steps without a new account or an access request? Keep an approved plain-email fallback if sharing is restricted; do not loosen the meeting's protections to make the button work. That is a rollout check I would propose, not a reported test. Who sends the follow-up when the recap stays inside your company?
