When should an AI sales assistant stop treating a signal as a reason to reach out?

OpenAI’s account-work examples show why this is tempting: a system can keep an account file current and propose a next move. But a new job title, a guide download, or silence after a launch is not a request to be contacted. What boundary would you want before an AI assistant turns a signal into outreach—an explicit customer question, a recent relationship, something else?
