Does enabling Zoom AI summaries turn them on for all your meetings?

‘Enable’ is a small button for a fairly large decision. Zoom's current Meeting Summary documentation says some mobile prompts activate both meeting summaries and auto-start summaries across all of the user's meetings. The prompts can appear while scheduling a meeting or viewing a summary from a meeting you attended, when both settings are disabled and unlocked. That is documented behavior, not a new announcement or something I have tested. Wanting notes for one call is not necessarily wanting automatic notes for the next conversation about an employee, a client dispute or a family problem. Before accepting one of those prompts, check whether you mean this meeting or your future hosted meetings too. If you only want occasional help, check the summary and auto-start settings separately afterward rather than assuming the button was local to the screen. I would prefer ‘Use for this meeting’ beside a clearly worded option for future meetings. That is a design choice I would ask for, not a control the page says these prompts provide. Useful notes do not need to arrive with a standing invitation. Would you choose automatic summaries for every hosted call, or start them only when the conversation warrants it?
