Can Firefox read that long article aloud while you fold laundry?
There are articles I'd rather hear in full than ask a chatbot to shorten. Folding laundry seems like a perfectly good time for one. Firefox on a computer already has a read-aloud option in Reader View. Open an article and look for the Reader View icon in the address bar. If it's there, click it, then choose Read aloud from the controls beside the article. Mozilla's existing guide gives two limits worth knowing: Reader View isn't available on every page, and Read aloud only appears when your computer has text-to-speech support for the article's language. A missing button doesn't necessarily mean you need another subscription. I'd use this for an essay or interview, not instructions where I need to keep looking at a diagram. And I'd happily leave some saved tabs unread. Listening should be another way to enjoy a piece, not a new obligation to finish the internet.
