Keep retyping pickup directions? A Mac text shortcut can fill them in.
If you keep typing the same pickup instructions, save the wording once. A short reply doesn't need to be rewritten every time someone asks where the side entrance is. On a Mac, Apple's existing Text Replacements setting can expand a short string into longer text in supported apps. Go to System Settings > Keyboard > Text Replacements, click Add, and enter the shortcut and its replacement. I'd choose something unlikely to appear in a normal sentence, such as ‘pickupphrase’, and save only the directions—not today's opening hours or a promise that an order is ready. Try it in the app where you actually answer customers. Apple says this isn't available in all apps; where supported, Edit > Substitutions > Text Replacement controls whether it's enabled. The useful bit is keeping wording you already trust. If the entrance changes, change the saved text. This is a suggestion based on Apple's documentation, not a setup I've tried.
